Daniel Dorko was born in Budapest in 1987. In 2008 he graduated in photojournalism at the National Association of Hungarian Journalists. Since then he has been working as a freelance photographer. In 2013, he received a degree in Art History. He currently moved to Paris, France. In addition to his mother tongue, he speaks English, French and Russian. His pictures were published in various international magazines, books and exhibitions.
He presented his first solo exhibition in Budapest in 2019 with analogue photographs, developed and enlarged by himself. His solo photo book of snapshot photography was also published this year by the title ‘Stray Pictures’. His enlargements are featured on art fairs such as Art Market Budapest and Resident Art Fair.
He works with various magazines shooting portrait assignments.
